Duties:
- Responsible for the direct sales organization operations to implement the organizational sales strategy, drive revenue growth and achieve financial objectives.
- Establish and implement processes, tools and structures to support the Sales Team.
- Participate in or negotiate strategic or high-value sales. Analyze the business environment and competitors to expand the customer base.
- Identify potential customers through various channels such as business directories, customer referrals, industry events, and trade shows.
- Contact and visit potential customers, maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers.
- Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and provide recommendations based on customer needs.
- Negotiate prices, terms of sale, and service agreements.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of customers and sales activities.
- Stay updated on product advancements, market conditions and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange sales strategies and product improvement ideas.
- Sign and train new distributors. Responsible for payment collection. Perform other tasks/duties as needed/assigned.
Experience:
- 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related horticulture/agricultural grower/manager position overseeing relations with suppliers and customers.
- Experience must include working knowledge of implementing innovative farming techniques, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
- Must have hands-on experience in outside sales growing customer base, along with increasing sales and customer satisfaction.
- Experience can be gained concurrently.
