Account Manager - Paskal Italy
Description

The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key customers in Italy. This includes identifying and addressing customer needs, managing the sales process, and providing excellent customer service. The Account Manager is also responsible for generating new leads and increasing sales.

Responsibilities
  • Identify potential customers in Italy
  • Plan and forecast the company's activities in Italy
  • Contact and visit potential customers in Italy
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in Italy
  • Make presentations and demonstrate products to customers in Italy
  • Analyze the needs of customers in Italy and make recommendations
  • Provide prices, credit terms, and other bid specifications to customers in Italy
  • Negotiate prices and terms of sale and service agreements with customers in Italy
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve any problems
  • Keep records of customers and sales in Italy
  • Keep abreast of advances in the agricultural supplies industry and monitor market conditions in Italy
  • Collaborate with colleagues to exchange information about sales strategies and sales trends
  • Sign and train new distributors in Italy
  • Be responsible for payment collection from customers in Italy
Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales in the field of agricultural supplies (growing media, fertilizers, agro-chemicals, or dripping systems)
  • Intermediate user of Excel and Word

Qualifications:

  • English speaker
  • Ability to travel (50% of the time ,if not living in Sicily)
  • Bachelor's Degree or similar qualifications in Agriculture/Horticulture science is highly desirable (open field or greenhouse cultivation)
  • Driving license
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Initiative and dedication
  • Excellent communication and "people skills"
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and in a fast-changing environment
  • Knows how to work with dealers, project suppliers, or others
