- The exposed twine is good for 1 season (up to 1 year) on the condition the twine is released and the plant is lowered at least 4 times during the season.
- The non-released twine is ready for the next season under the terms mentioned in paragraph 1. Degradation of 50% in breaking tensile strength after one growing season under those conditions:
2.1. Temp: 1˚C to 45˚C
2.2. Humidity: up to 96% at 40˚C
2.3. Sun radiation: up to 300 kly
2.4. Chemical resistance:
2.4.1. Massive usage of chemicals containing chlorine/sulphur can cause accelerated degradation of the twine.
2.4.2. Sensitive to the usage of chemicals containing metals such as Fe (Iron), Cu (copper), Zn (Zinc) etc.
Note: The exposure to light of the non-released twine starts from the last releasing of the former season.
